There’s plenty of European action on Monday and we’ve put together our best three bets together.
Midtjylland v Nordsjaelland – Monday
Nordsjaelland slumped to their fifth defeat in seven games as they went down 3-1 at league leaders Brondby and they face another tough test as they go to 2nd place Midtjylland, who bounced back from a defeat of their own against Brondby with a 3-0 win over Aalborg last time out at home. Indeed, if we exclude games against the league leaders, Midtjylland are on a 10 game winning streak at home, leading at the break in nine of these victories and scoring at least three times in eight. Nordsjaelland have lost five of their last six away to top-six teams, conceding 16 times across these losses and so the hosts should cover the -1 handicap, as they have done in four of their last six home wins.
Tip: FC Midtjylland -1

Leganes v Levante – Monday
Levante continued their excellent form with a 2-1 win over Sevilla, their sixth in eight games, with their only defeat in that time at Atletico. Leganes, on the other hand, have won just one of their last six and so it’s surprising to see them as short as they are. They’ve won only three of their last eight at home, despite the fact that three of those were against the bottom three, and so Levante look excellent value on the Double Chance. If we exclude top-six opponents, Levante have lost only two of their 11 road games this term and given they’re in the best form they have been all season, we expect them to get something from this one.
Tip: Levante-Draw
Leganes v Levante [Double Chance]
Pacos Ferreira v Rio Ave – Monday
All seven of Pacos’s wins this season have come at home and they even beat leaders Porto here recently as they look to drag their way to safety, and so they look an excellent bet to beat a Rio Ave side that have nothing at all to play for. Moreover, it’s a Rio Ave side that’s lost seven straight on the road, failing to score in four of the last five of these. They’re just W1-D1-L3 when travelling to bottom-six sides this term and Pacos certainly aren’t playing like a bottom-six team at home at the moment, so whilst we’re going for the straight win, we wouldn’t put anyone off the win to nil given Rio’s lack of goals on the road – especially since Pacos have kept a clean sheet in two of their last three home wins.
Tip: Pacos Ferreira
