Championship big guns lock horns at the Liberty.
Will Leeds United ever lose a football match ever again? Marcelo Bielsa has come to Elland Road and swiftly turned Leeds into a formidable Championship side. The pace setters have a 100% record so far this season, and travel to South Wales to face their toughest challenge yet.
Swansea have enjoyed a solid start themselves. Graham Potter has seven points from his opening three matches, and despite earning victories against Sheffield United and Preston, I make Leeds United favourites going into this one.
Potter’s men face Leeds on the back of an absolute mauling at the hands of Birmingham City. They emerged from this mauling as 0-0 ‘victors’ – having faced 17 shots including number of clear-cut chances – and shows they are fallible against teams who have a real go.
Leeds are certainly that sort of side, and have not had to break a sweat in the league this season; disposing of Stoke, Derby and Rotherham thus far. Despite being the away side, I’m backing Leeds to emerge from this with all three points. They may become unstuck later in the season if fatigue plays a factor, but their early-season momentum will earn them the win here.

One man who has been a revelation under Bielsa is Kemar Roofe. The winger-turned-striker has enjoyed a brilliant start to the season – netting three times already – keeping big-money striker Patrick Bamford out of the side.
Swansea have conceded just one league goal so far, but this Leeds side have scored nine in three, so I’m expecting something to give. The Bielsa style will see plenty of goals scored – their high-octane build-up play has really caught the eye so far – and I’m backing Roofe to score at any time.
