Friday Night European Acca

It’s a continental treble for you with matches from France, Scotland and Spain.

Amiens v PSG – Friday

PSG had to come from two goals down to rescue a point against Guingamp and there appears to be a hangover after securing the title as they were laboured in victory over Bordeaux prior to that draw. Amiens have won their last two at home and generally keep things pretty tight when hosting the top teams as they managed a 1-1 draw with Monaco and were beaten 2-1 when Lyon came to town, taking the lead in both of those games. PSG have won just two of their last eight on their travels by more than one goal, despite travelling to three bottom-four clubs in that time and so Amiens are a good price on the +2 handicap.

Tip: Amiens +2

Partick Thistle v Ross County – Friday

It’s a basement battle in the Scottish Premiership as bottom travel to second from bottom and it’s Partick that we fancy at the prices. They beat Hamilton in their last home game and are an impressive W6-D0-L1 when hosting bottom-half opponents this term. Ross County have lost nine of their last 10 on the road, failing to score in five of the last seven of these and conceding eight goals in the last three. They’ve trailed at the break in five of their last seven on the road and since Partick have led at the half in four of their last five home wins, the half-time/full-time double is also of interest.

Tip: Partick

Sevilla v Real Sociedad – Friday

Sociedad made it four wins in five as they eased past Bilbao to move into the top half and within two points of their hosts, although Sevilla do have a game in hand. Vincenzo Montella got the boot after Sevilla slumped to defeat at Levante last time out to leave them without a win in seven but it’s their away form that’s the real problem and so we look to be getting an inflated price about them. They’ve drawn against top-six sides Barcelona and Villarreal in their last two at home but if we exclude such opposition they’re W8-D3-L0 this term. Sociedad lost at bottom club Malaga in their last road trip and have just one win in their last 13 on the road, going W0-D2-L5 when travelling to top-half opponents this term and so Sevilla are the bet.
